Depart
USA for Costa Rica. Upon arrival, you will be met by a
Passport Costa Rica Tours Representative and transferred
to your hotel. After checking in you will have the balance
of the day to begin exploring the capital city. Overnight
in San José. |

Depart
this morning for the Northern Plains, home of the imposing
Arenal Volcano. Check into your hotel and spend the rest
of the day at Tabacón Hot Springs and Spa. Luxuriate
in the the therapeutic mineral waters of Tabacón.
You may want to treat yourself to a relaxing massage or
mud treatment. Top off your evening with dinner in view
of the rumbling Arenal. Watch its natural fireworks light
up the evening sky, an experience you won’t soon

3 B (L with Caño Negro Tour) |
You
get to choose your adventure today! You may decide on
the journey via horseback into the forest to the beautiful
Río Fortuna Waterfall. Another choice is the Caño
Negro Wildlife Refuge Cruise, a naturalist’s and
birder’s paradise! Home to many marsh inhabitants
such as crocodiles and caimans, this lowland region is
also sanctuary for hundreds of aquatic bird species. Overnight
in Arenal Region. |

In
a delightful change of pace, today you leave the volcano
and journey to the Monteverde Cloud Forest, located in
the Tilarán Mountain Range. Here the scenery changes
to cool and moist, and trees are covered in the lushness
of beautiful orchids and bromeliads. Throughout the wonderland
of emerald green foliage, you’ll find an amazing
array of colorful butterflies and frogs along with rare
highland birds including the elusive Resplendent Quetzal.

Today you are in for an experience
unique to Costa Rica, the exciting Sky Walk Tour! This
adventure, is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced,
— truly like a “Walk in the Clouds” as
you travel through the Monteverde Cloud Forest on a
series of paths, suspension bridges, and platforms,
130 feet above the forest floor. If you are craving
even more excitement, you may opt to stay in the cloud
forest and try Sky Trek (optional). This canopy tour
will have you gliding on a system of cables and pullies
while suspended over the rainforest by a safety harness.
It’s the adventure of a lifetime! Overnight in

This
morning you will return to the beautiful city of San José
for a day of rest and relaxation and a “do as you
like” itinerary. You may want the day to lounge by
the hotel pool, or take one of the many optional tours
that this exciting city has to offer. Celebrate Costa
Rican history and culture through music, dance and lively
entertainment with the Costa Rican Roots show while feasting
on a delicious meal of Tico cuisine served at the end
as part of the tour. You can also attend the colorful

7 (L with Calypso Cruise) |
Today
you wake to two exciting choices for the day’s activities.
The first is a fun-filled day aboard the Calypso Catamaran,
complete with sundeck, bar and two inviting jacuzzis on
deck. You’ll make a stop at beautiful Tortuga Island
for some fun in the sun, snorkeling, swimming and beachcombing.
A fabulous mid-day feast, rounds out this perfect day.
