Depart
USA for San José, Costa Rica. Upon arrival, you
will be met by a Passport Costa Rica Tours Representative
and transferred to your hotel. After checking in you will
have the balance of the day to begin exploring the capital
city of San José. Overnight in San José.

This
morning you will get to experience the uniquely entertaining
Café Britt Coffee Tour. Tour an actual coffee plantation
with a colorful cast of characters that entertains you
with the history of coffee, its production and a lively
stage show. Take part in a private cupping
(tasting) session, enjoy lunch at the coffee plantation,
and then its on to Braulio Carrillo National Park
for the Aerial Tram ride. On this thrilling and unique
adventure, your tram car takes you high into the rainforest
canopy giving you a birds eye view of all its fascinating
plant and animal life. Overnight in San José. |

Today
youll travel to the Northern Plains region, home
of the imposing Arenal Volcano, one of the most active
volcanos in the world. Bask in the therapeutic hot springs
of Tabacón surrounded by a lush tropical Eden.
You may want to treat yourself to a relaxing massage or
mud treatment the spa offers. Enjoy dinner while viewing
the mighty Arenal, as she rumbles and puts on a fireworks
display of brilliant colors against the night sky. Return
and overnight in San José. |

You
will embark on your adventure to the famous Tortuguero
Canals where the leatherback turtle lay their eggs on
the protected beaches. Visit a banana plantation packing
plant en route. Arrive at the canals and make your way
via boat along a network of waterways through dense rainforest
abundant with wildlife to get to your hotel. In the evening,
enjoy a slide show and presentation by a resident biologist
on Tortugueros natural history. Overnight in Tortuguero. |

Get your cameras
ready today as you will explore the more remote areas
of the Tortuguero canals where only small boats can
weave through this lush region, allowing you an even
closer look at the flora and fauna that populates the
smaller canals. Colorful birds, monkeys and crocodiles
can be spotted along the way. This evening you might
opt to take the Leatherback Turtle Nesting Tour (seasonal)
to observe these incredible creatures nesting and hatching.

After
breakfast, you will fly from Tortuguero to San José,
change planes and continue on to the coastal town of Quepos
where you will transfer to your hotel in Manuel Antonio.
Venture out to Manuel Antonio National Park a wonderful
way to spend a day on some of the most famous beaches
in Costa Rica. For a nominal fee you can hire a guide
to give an insiders tour of the rainforest that
surrounds the white sand beaches. Overnight in Manuel

Enjoy
breakfast before leaving for the Rain Maker Tour. Wander
along well-maintained trails of the River Walk through
primary forest and pristine cascade waterfalls. The unique
suspension bridges will take you to new heights, through
the tree tops and over waterfalls on a well-engineered
system of 6 suspended cable bridges connected by 5 tree
platforms providing a rarely seen view of the ecosystem
that will leave you with lasting impressions of this rainforest

you have optional excursions to choose from. Try the Damas
Island Monkey Cruise and see these playful creatures up
close and personal when they drop onto your boat! Or you
might choose to visit Rancho Casa Grande. This private

butterflies, 13 species of mammals and 7 species of reptiles.
